Gitzo GHFG1 Fluid Gimbal Head

I have a love affair with large, heavy lenses like my 600mm nikkor and recognise the need for a good tripod head. Over the years I have used a range of of models, from the more traditional pan-and-tilt varieties to gimbals of various makes. But last summer I made the switch to the new Gitzo GHFG1 Fluid Gimbal Head and have been using it ever since. I have to say it is the most perfect tripod head I have ever come across - perfectly ergonomic, silky smooth and incredible value for money.
