Young BPOTY Conservation

Bird Photographer of the Year is committed to raising both awareness and money for global conservation projects identified by the BPOTY team and our photographer community. Our main Conservation page provides more information on the causes we are currently supporting.

We would like Young BPOTY to help in some way too, and it is our aim to create a project fund to support a conservation project/s chosen by our young photographer community in consultation with the YBPOTY fund Ambassadors. Once we have secured funding for 2020 we will be asking you for your suggestions on how this money can be used to help conservation. This could range from a local community project to a global cause, so please do get in touch via our YBPOTY Community or the contact tab. Our conservation Ambassadors will look at your suggestions and announce the chosen project at our Awards Presentation at the Rutland BirdFair in August 2020.
